Insurance and Fees

  • We currently take private pay, Aetna, United / Optum and Denver County (CO Access) Medicaid only.

  • If you have Aetna or United / Optum, we do need to ensure that we take your particular type of plan before we can see you.

  • Denver County Medicaid may appear on your card under different names depending on your plan (Health First, CHP, CO Access, etc). You can contact us if you would like us to check and see if your particular type of Medicaid is something we are credentialed to work with.

  • If you have a both Medicaid and another type of insurance plan, we are required to take the other type of plan in order for Medicaid to allow us to see you.

  • We do not accept Medicare.

  • Each therapist has a set private pay rate which is listed on their individual bio page on this website.

  • You may be able to obtain insurance reimbursement for sessions if you have an insurance plan that covers out-of-network services. Here are instructions for checking with your insurance company:

    • For out of network reimbursement: What you will need to do when you call your insurance company is ask them about coverage for out-of-network psychotherapy sessions. You will pay for the out-of-network deductible and once that is met, you will probably receive a reimbursement for a percentage of the fee for sessions or you will have a copay for sessions. Ask them what your out-of-network deductible is and then what your coverage is once the deductible is met.

If they ask, the sessions are CPT code 90837 (60 min psychotherapy sessions). We are licensed as an LPCs - Licensed Professional Counselors or LCSWs - Licensed Clinical Social Workers in CO. Let us know if you need any help with this.
