About

Every phase of life offers new challenges, uncertainty, and opportunities for growth. I believe in empowering people, treating everyone equally with respect, and know from personal experience how taking a holistic approach is the most effective way of healing. I understand how vital it is to meet each person where they are at and build resilience from within through a person-centered methodology. Life has many moments of feeling as if you’re alone and I’m able to provide a safe space to walk with you through life’s obstacles.

I graduated from the University of Southern California where I was extensively trained in adult mental health and wellness. I use a variety of modalities with a trauma informed lens to tailor treatment to every unique circumstance and individual. From a strengths-based perspective we can find the best way forward together to address problems and conflicts that have arisen. I utilize modalities including EMDR, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I draw mainly from Neurobiology, Attachment Theory, Ecological Perspectives, and Social Cognitive Theory.

I know that one instance of feeling value can be life changing and know our true selves need affirmation, encouragement, and validation to be heard and understood. I have practiced therapy and case management at several local behavioral health clinics and have experience facilitating group therapy for domestic violence survivors and administering risk-assessments for high-risk clients.

Originally from Ohio, I have been in Colorado for over half my life. I love being in nature, backpacking or hiking, or taking my dog for walks around the park. I appreciate seeing live music and doing yoga, vital to me in restoring energy and reminding me to stay present in the moment.
