About

Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Oklahoma. Amanda is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy as well as other comprehensive therapeutic approaches. Amanda has over twelve years experience working with teens, adults, and couples. Amanda approaches each client as an individual, meeting them where they are and tailoring a plan to best meet their individual needs. She is enthusiastic about helping you reach your goals but also understands how scary this can be! 

Amanda's clients find her engaging, caring, and validating. She relies on a nonjudgmental and welcoming approach while incorporating comfortability into sessions. Her theoretical orientation combines strengths-based therapeutic work, client-centered counseling, mindfulness-based therapies, humanistic therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. 

 Amanda is a wife and mother of two wonderful girls, she values work-life balance and strives to model this in her daily life.  Amanda enjoys living an active lifestyle, she also loves to read and play games.
