About
Our stories do not define us, but they are a part of us. I believe your story, feelings, and experiences are worthy of being seen, heard, and valued. It is when people feel seen and accepted by others that they are able to fully embrace themselves and show up authentically in all aspects of their lives.
My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in understanding how your intersecting identities impact your way of thinking, and shape how you navigate through life and its challenges.
I believe an essential component of therapy is having a warm, supportive, and accepting space, that allows for deeper self-connection, curiosity, and exploration. I see you as the expert on your experiences, and my role is to meet you where you are and tailor my approach to meet your needs.
We will work together in an individualized process to create healing, change, and growth in your life. While I utilize modalities such as EMDR, parts work, and attachment theory, my approach is empathetic, gentle, and collaborative.
When I’m not in sessions you’ll most likely find me in the pottery studio playing with some clay. My goal for this year is to throw a 15lb planter. As much as I love camping, hiking, and skiing, I will never say no to exploring new local restaurants and coffee shops. If I’m having a cozy day at home there’s a 99% chance, I’ll be snuggling up next to my two kitties zucchini and zeppole.
