Taylor Palen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Colorado. After attaining her Masters of Social Work through the University of Kansas, she adopted a strengths-based, collaborate approach in therapy. Taylor firmly believes that all people are capable and whole before entering the therapy space. Her work is dedicated to creating a caring and affirming place for individuals to build on their unique strengths and honor their values to foster greater wellbeing and healing.

Specializing in working with people living with OCD, anxiety, the impacts of traumas, and addictions, Taylor aims to help clients align their personal values and strengths to address the impact of external pressures of daily life. Tailoring her approach to individual goals and needs, Taylor utilizes modalities including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy. She finds fulfillment in collaborating with individuals to improve overall wellness for themselves and their relationships.

With over 10 years of experience as a social worker in communities affected by mental health, chronic illness, and substance use, Taylor brings particular expertise in supporting individuals navigating the health care system, Ryan White Services for people living with HIV/AIDS, and other advocacy spaces.

Originally from New York State, Taylor expresses gratitude for calling Colorado home. She finds joy in experiencing the great outdoors, whether on a hiking trail or in the park playing with her toddlers. A passionate basketball fan, Taylor is happiest when cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks or the Denver Nuggets.
